Wing gate, as one of the channel management equipment, is widely used in airports, subway stations, stations, docks, scenic spots, parks, unit pedestrian channels, etc. it is an ideal management and dredging equipment for high-frequency pedestrian access. The influence of induction coil on the operation state of wing gate is very important. The shape and number of turns of the wing brake coil shall be rectangular unless conditions do not permit. The two long sides are perpendicular to the moving direction of the vehicle, and the spacing between them is recommended to be 1m. The length of the long side depends on the width of the road, and the two ends are usually 0.5m narrower than the road width. The wing brake coil is mainly affected by three problems: coil material, coil shape and whether it is correctly constructed and buried.
When the induction coil of the wing brake is very close, the magnetic fields of the two coils overlap and interfere with each other. This phenomenon is coil crosstalk. Wing gate crosstalk will lead to wrong detection results and deadlock of loop detector. To avoid coil crosstalk, we should:
1. The number of turns of the same size of the wing brake changes the working frequency of the coil. It is generally recommended that one is 4 turns and the other is 6 turns.
2. Increase the coil spacing adjacent to the wing gate. It must be ensured that the spacing between detection coils is greater than 3m.
3. Conduct good shielding for the lead wire from the wing brake coil, and the shielding wire must be grounded at the detector end. Multi strand copper conductors are preferred for coil cables and joints. It is better not to have a connection between the cable and the connector.
Key points for coil installation of wing brake: firstly, for coil embedding, use the road cutter to cut out the groove on the road surface, and conduct 45 degree chamfer on the four corners to prevent sharp corners from damaging the coil cable. When burying the cable, leave enough length to connect to the loop sensor and ensure that there is no joint in the middle. After winding the coil cable, lead out the cable through the outgoing trunking. Since the sensitivity of the detection coil decreases with the increase of the lead length, the length of the lead cable should be as short as possible.
